A towering tree lily caught after dark, its dusky rose-and-mauve blooms pulled out of the black night by a single floodlight. The dramatic, almost theatrical lighting turns the garden into a stage, each petal and curling stamen thrown into sharp relief against the void. Grown and photographed by Jodi Carlson in her own Hudson Valley garden.
Printed at 11” x 14”. Open edition.
