Welcome to my site! I am a 43 year old female sculptor. I've been an artist all of my life, and discovered my passion for welding metal in 2006.

My work is abstract and semi-abstract. I primarily weld aluminum, and often use recycled metal such as street signs, ski resort ads, and found objects. I'm happiest sculpting large pieces (6-12'), but also make smaller ones. I make both "in-the-round" and relief sculptures that can be hung inside on walls or outside on a house or fence.

I have an inventory of art that can be purchased, and I take commissions. I have also created a series of signed, limited edition photographs of my work.

Enjoy and feel free to make comments. Coming soon is a WORKS IN PROGRESS section with photos and a blog, as well as ABOUT ME and ART ON A CAR (funny photos of the art being transported).

Cows Love Art, 2009. A cow made from rusty found objects curls into a shiny aluminum tripod, topped by an shiny abstract aluminum sphere. The cow's legs and frame are made from an old metal table frame with baked white painted legs. The head is made from a motorcycle engine intake manifold, a metal planter frame, and stair railing embellishments. The cowbell is made from license plates, and the udders are made from windchimes. A metal Rune with the symbol for Balance hangs from the chimes. The sculpture is sited at the top of a hill in Garrison, NY, with the hills of the Hudson Valley in the distance.

"Cows Love Art," Steel, aluminum (found objects--table base, motorcycle intake manifold, wind chimes, license plates, plant holder,
railing embellishments), 4' x 8' x 11.5'. On site at Saunders Farm, Garrison, NY
